In a brightly lit, eggshell white room, Lauren had been overflowing with excitement. Jack was listening in as she was making an announcement. “I have qualified to partake in the national marathon this coming autumn.”

“That’s amazing!” Jack's response came with such enthusiasm, it also contained a subtle amount of sarcasm. Lauren, now unamused, began leering at Jack as he concludes, “I hope you win!!”
